Large format printing press producing campaign material in a workshop

Public & Institutions · 2024

A public information campaign printed for 34 municipalities without a single reprint.

Accessible design, tender-compliant production, municipal-level personalisation and delivery to 34 town halls on a fixed date.

The brief

What made it difficult.

One message, 34 municipalities, each with its own contact details, logo and distribution date — and a tender that fixed the paper, the deadline and the budget.

Approach

How we handled it.

  1. 01

    Designed for legibility first

Contrast ratios, type sizes and plain-language editing tested with readers before layout was signed off.

  2. 02

    Variable data, one press run

Municipal logos and contact blocks were merged as variable fields, so 34 versions cost close to one.

  3. 03

    Proofing loop with deadlines

Each municipality got a dated PDF proof with a 72-hour window; silence counted as approval, written into the plan.

  4. 04

    Delivery, not dispatch

Pallets were split, labelled and delivered to each town hall with a signed receipt.

Delivered

What left our workshop.

  • Campaign identity & layouts
  • Accessibility review
  • 180,000 leaflets & 3,400 posters
  • 34 personalised versions
  • Palletised delivery to 34 sites
“Thirty-four mayors, one deadline, no argument. The proofing calendar did most of the work.”
